Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead – Senior Software Engineer to become an integral part of our dynamic team situated in Switzerland. In this pivotal position, you will play a crucial role in shaping, building, and supervising the evolution of our extensive web infrastructure.
As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for providing leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship to the software engineering team. Your role involves making critical decisions to ensure the successful execution of projects, meeting high-quality standards, and aligning with organizational and business objectives.
Location
This position is located at our Sion headquarters. Part remote work is possible.
Responsibilities
– Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of our web infrastructure.
– Provide architectural guidance and make high-level design decisions to ensure the robustness and scalability of our web applications.
– Develop and maintain the entire stack, addressing both front-end and back-end requirements.
– Take a leading role in designing and constructing back-end APIs, ensuring they align with industry best practices and support seamless integration with front-end interfaces.
– Implement and advocate for robust security measures throughout the development lifecycle, conducting regular audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
– Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, ensuring that key design decisions and implementations are well-documented for future reference.
– Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Introduce innovative solutions to enhance our development processes.
Skills and Qualifications
– Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with leadership responsibilities.
– 5+ working experience as a professional Full-Stack developer.
– Strategic mindset with the capability to drive the technical direction of projects.
– Strong working experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
– Experience with React preferred, Angular or Vue also valuable, Typescript a plus.
– Strong working experience with a back-end programing language (Node.js preferred, Go, PHP, Python, Ruby).
– Strong working experience with a RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, SQL Server, Oracle).
– Strong working experience with database design and management.
– Mind-set oriented towards continuous improvement, lean thinking, security and high-quality work.
– Experience with GraphQL, Docker or Google Cloud products is a plus.
